NYC DESIGN WEEK 2024

For Design Week 2024 ThoughtMatter created an event titled “Who is NYC For?” questioning the structures of the city and how it is failing its citizens through various installations within the studio.

For our visual identity we created something that reflected that struggle in how we built our type systems. While there is a clear grid, the means in which they live together is uncomfortable and cramped reflecting the relationship between the average New Yorker and the civic structures that work against them.
